CEDA – Calcutta Electric Dealers Association was established in 1986 by a group of senior and respected electrical goods dealers with the objective of organizing, representing, and strengthening the dealer community in Kolkata. Since its inception, CEDA has consistently worked towards safeguarding the collective interests of its members and promoting the growth and stability of the electrical dealers’ trade.

CEDA began its activities from a modest setup in central Kolkata and gradually expanded its operational presence as the Association grew in strength and membership. Over time, the Association shifted its operations to Tiretta Bazar and subsequently established itself at its present address at 4 A SWAIKA CENTRE, 3rd Floor, Kolkata – 700001, which continues to serve as the Association’s administrative and meeting center.

A significant phase in the development of CEDA was marked by the establishment of its own association premises, achieved through the collective efforts and dedication of the office bearers and executive committee members. This milestone reflected the unity, commitment, and long-term vision of the Association towards creating a permanent platform for member interaction, meetings, and trade-related activities.
